Sd card corrupt reasons

Hi Ravi,

I am using this standard SANDISK SD card for my application where device has to log data per sec into the SD card. But some of the SD cards are getting corrupted & we dont know the exact reasons.
So can you suggest some of the reasons or can be firmware at fault??
please let know your view.

Yes firmware can corrupt SD cards.
Make sure there are no power interruptions when disk writes are going on.
Power supply can also create problems if the supply is noisy. Use appropriate filtering.
There are be numerous reasons, You have to find the root cause. Have debug print mechanism or logging to find out when exactly the SD card gets corrupt and doesn’t respond.
